Banka Ekonomike, being a member of the SWIFT network, enables businesses to make very fast international transfers, enabling funds to reach the beneficiary within 3 business days, regardless of where they come from or where they are sent.
Banka Ekonomike’s SWIFT code is: EKOMXKPRXXX.
In order for international payments to meet customers’ needs for speed, traceability and transparency, the bank also offers the “SWIFT GPI” service, a service through which we provide our business customers with information about the stages of international transaction execution at any time. Furthermore, the customer is aware at any time of the stage of execution of the transfer they are waiting for (incoming) or the transfer that has been executed (outgoing).
Outgoing International Transfers
You can send international funds transfers from all our branches or even through e-banking. If you would like to make an international fund transfer to one of our branches, please bring the following information with you:
- Full name and address of the beneficiary.
- Name and SWIFT code of the beneficiary’s bank.
- Beneficiary’s account number at the beneficiary’s bank (IBAN if applicable).
- Purpose of payment.
Incoming International Transfers
You can receive international funds transfers at any time and to any account you have opened within Banka Ekonomike. Funds can only be received in the currency in which the account is opened within the bank (EURO, CHF, GBP or USD).
Please provide the following information to companies or individuals who would like to transfer money to you from outside the territory of Kosovo:

The costs for incoming international payments are applied in accordance with our official price list.
The costs of international transfers, whether incoming or outgoing, can be determined by selecting one of the three possible options: OUR, SHA or BEN.

The Swift GO service meets your individual and business needs by enabling you to receive international transfers up to the equivalent of EUR 10,000 with a fixed commission of only EUR 9.99 for each incoming transfer.
This service is suitable for your business to receive international transfers up to the equivalent of EUR 10,000 and also for your family members in the diaspora who want to send you funds in Kosovo by offering speed, transparency and affordable fixed costs.
To receive incoming transfers via SWIFT GO, it is important that the sending bank is part of the SWIFT GO network. This ensures that the payer has an account with one of the banks that supports this service. These types of transfers can be made between clients who have accounts with Banka Ekonomike. The advantage of these types of transfers is the speed of execution, since transactions are made within minutes. It is important that these transfers can be made through e-banking, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
Intra-bank transfers are considered if a person or a company to whom you want to make a money transfer also has an account opened at Banka Ekonomike, which also has these advantages:

KOS – GIRO
Giro payment is one of the most convenient payment methods.
The main use is for payments of public utility bills and regular periodic payments.
This payment method is used for making utility payments such as: ATK, TRUST, KRU, POLICE, COURT, KESCO, PTK, AKP, Customs Service and Insurance Companies.
The invoice for KOS-GIRO is standard and reading is done through special bar code readers.
KOS GIRO payments and institutional payments can also be made through the e-banking service.
Domestic transfers
Through this you can make local transfers which mean transfers to the beneficiary who has an account open in any of the banks in Kosovo in a fast and efficient manner.
You can also make local transfers through your E-banking.
You can process priority transfers and standard transfers. Priority transfers are made within 15 minutes, on business days. Standard transfers are made in different sessions during business days.
