Job Title: AI & Process Automation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled AI & Process Automation Specialist to lead the automation of business processes across various banking applications. This role will focus on identifying automation opportunities, designing intelligent workflows, designing, developing  and  deploying AI-driven solutions that enhance customer experience, optimize operations and strengthen risk management. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business operations and emerging technologies to drive efficiency, accuracy and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing manual and repetitive processes across departments (e.g., operations, compliance, customer service).
• Design and implement automation solutions using RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate Desktop, Blue Prism).
• Integrate AI capabilities such as OCR, NLP, and machine learning into automation workflows.
• Steer processes and staff towards AI adoption and eventually to build a team which will drive Bank AI-enabled functions. 
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and model deployment frameworks.
• Design and implement AI/ML models for use cases such as fraud detection, credit scoring, customer segmentation, and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and ensure automation aligns with operational goals.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts, bots, and AI models on-premise.
• Monitor performance of automated processes and continuously optimize for reliability and scalability.
• Ensure all automation solutions comply with internal security policies and regulatory standards.
• Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams on automation tools and best practices.
• Conduct research on emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability to banking operations.
• Support the development of AI governance frameworks, including model explainability and bias mitigation.

Required Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in process automation, RPA, or AI implementation.
• Hands-on experience with RPA tools (e.g. UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate ).
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and tools (e.g., Python, Scikit-learn, OCR engines).
• Strong understanding of banking operations and workflows.
• Ability to work with legacy systems and integrate across multiple applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills:
 
•    Experience with on-premise deployment of AI tools.
•    Knowledge of document processing, intelligent data extraction, and workflow automation.
•    Familiarity with compliance and risk considerations in financial services.
•    Certifications in RPA or AI technologies are a plus.
